This world can feel pretty broken sometimes.
Heartache. Frustration. Inequality. Injustice. Turn on the news, scroll through your phone, or simply talk to the people around you, and it doesn’t take long to wonder, “How much worse can things get?”
I don’t know the answer to that.
But there is one thing I do know.
This is my Father’s world.
Now, depending on what you’re facing today, that statement may be hard to believe. And I understand. I don’t know your circumstances. I don’t know what has kept you awake at night or what you’re carrying that nobody else can see.
But I still know, without a shadow of a doubt, that God is still God. He still has a plan for us. And when we find ourselves walking through the valley, He doesn’t stand at the top shouting directions. He walks through it with us.
He created this universe and called it His own. And when we wandered away from Him, Jesus came looking for us. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He made a way for us to come home.
That changes how we see the world.
It doesn’t mean the broken things suddenly aren’t broken. It doesn’t mean injustice doesn’t hurt or that grief somehow becomes easy. It means none of those things gets the final word.
So whatever you’re facing this week, remember who is walking beside you. And if the road gets too difficult, He’s strong enough to carry you for a while.
I know that’s true.
He’s done it for me.
He’s the Father of my hope. He’s the Father of my freedom. And yes, I like to think of Him as my Dad.
So maybe the question for today isn’t whether this is our Father’s world.
Maybe it’s simply this:
Am I letting Him be the Father of my world today?
